Negative Calorie Foods Like Konnyaku For Weight Loss
Diet Strategies April 21st, 2009
What Are Negative Calorie Foods?
When we say that a food has negative calories, it does not mean the food has 0 calories, and of course, it does not mean that a food really has less than 0 calories. It means that this food takes more energy to digest than it contains, and so the net affect on your body equals no calories. Many foods like this are very high in fiber and other nutrients, and they should be included in your diet every day. They can help you lose weight, stabilize blood sugar, and cleanse your body of toxins.
We have talked about the effects of Konnyaku - the Japanese plant that comes in CNI Cheat or in Noodles. This food really can work like a diet miracle food because it is high in fiber, increases a feeling of fullness, and requires some digestive work from your body! You can get more info on Miracle Noodles here, or look at how to block calories with CNI Cheat.
Other Foods That Cut Calories
Of course, these are not the only negative calorie foods you may find. Many popular vegetables like Asparagus, fennel, gourd, aubergine, broccoli, leek, cabbage, lettuce, carrots, marrow, cauliflower, peppers, celery, chicory, radish, spinach, cress, tomato, cucumber, and turnip can really help you fill up, use up calories in digestion, and of course, get healthy! You just have to be careful how you prepare these foods though. If you cook them with fats or other foods, it may offset the calorie elimination properties.

Week 8 of Core4 Weight Loss From CNI
Weight Loss Supplements April 21st, 2009
After 8 Weeks of Core4!
OK, this is a more realistic post than week 1 and week 2 of CNI Core4 weight loss. I have had a longer time to stay on the 4 suppblement products and evaluate their effectiveness. We all know that the first week or 2 of a diet will give us more dramatic weight loss results, and the real test comes after more time!
I am down about 13 pounds in 2 months. That includes a holiday week of total backsliding. I still feel great with no adverse effects. I know that some people have had more dramatic weight loss, but since I did not put in any excercise or special diet foods, I am satisfied that 13 pounds is making good progress. I started at about 40 pounds over weight, so my long term goal does not look quite as scary. Now I need to trim about 27 pounds.
I have also dropped a size in my pants, so that’s very satisfying. I am setting myself another goal of losing about 5 - 10 pounds in another month. So I’ll keep you posted about how that goes! I will be happy to lose 10 pounds, because that should put my long term goal at less than 20 pounds which should be a walk in the park!
Lose 10 Pounds at a Time Diet
Diet Strategies April 21st, 2009
How Much Weight Do You Want To Lose?
Do you want to lose 20 pounds? Or do you have a larger goal, like losing 40, 50, or more pounds. Do you have a timeframe in mind? Let’s say you’d like to lose 40 pounds in 6 months. That can seem like a large goal, and a very long term schedule of dieting and working out.
Lose 10 Pounds at a Time
I have spoken to many people who managed to trim down. Most of them found that the best diet strategy that really worked was to set more modest mini-goals. We decided that setting goals of losing 5 to 10 pounds be a certain date, with an option to set a new goal at that time, worked out the best for us!
So it is really tough for anybody to determine to lose 100 pounds in 18 months! But is is not so tough to work on losing 10 pounds in 2 months! We like to do this, and then give ourselves a small diet break in between - where we try to eat to maintain our weight, but not always to lose weight.
Plan your diet around Holidays
Let’s say you celebrate some major holidays like most of us do. Why not set your mini-goals around those holidays. If you consider Christmas/Chanukah, Valentine’s Day/Mardi Gras, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter/Passover, Memorial Day Week-end, 4th of July, Labor Day Week-end, Thanksgiving, etc. Notice they are fairly evenly spaced. So enjoy yourself on the 4th of July, but determine to get back on the wagon and trim off another 10 pounds by Labor Day week-end!
A 10 pound at a time diet, like this, can be a safe and sane way to lose weight. Meanwhile, you can be happy to have met your mini-goals, and not frustrated that your long term goal is far in the future!
